  • What is the difference between coaches and therapists?

Life Coaches focuses on goals while therapists focuses mental health. Because psychotherapy is about treating a mental health problem, it may be covered by your insurance company if you meet the criteria for a mental health disorder and the insurance company deems psychotherapy medically necessary to help you get better. Coaching is typically not covered by health insurance because the focus of coaching is not on treating an illness.

  • Will I be diagnosed when I come to my session?

No coaches do not diagnose only licensed therapists?

  • Will my insurance be charged?

No insurance: In order to bill your insurance their has to be an medical necessity meaning a diagnosed of some kind.

Will I be recommended to see a therapist if the coach feels that coaching is not for me?

Yes if the coach feel that counseling would be more appropriate than coaching than you will referred. Completing a assessment can also help us in the screening process.

  • How would I know how many session to take for anger management?

The court will provide you with a written document that stipulate how many sessions you are expected to complete.

What if the court does not provide me with a written statement?

If you have been ordered by the court to complete anger management classes than it is your sole reasonability to find out how many classes the judge want you to complete.

  • What if I am late to class?

If you are more than 10 minute late for class you will still be able to sit in however; you will not get credit for the class.

What if I have an emergency and I can not show up for class?

Emergencies happens however; it is your responsibility to make certain the number of classes you have to take is completed.

  • What will happen to me if I am not able complete all my classes?

You have been ordered by the court to complete whatever number of classes that was told to you to complete. Remember it is most likely your freedom rest on completing the required classes.

  • Will I get a certificate upon completing my class?

Yes all participants that complete the class will receive a certificate.

  • Will you release my progress to anyone?

By law we can not release your paperwork just to anyone. If you sign a release form that provides us permission to release the name of the person and address will be on the form of who to release

  • What if someone askes for a letter on my behalf on how I am doing in the class?

If someone askes how you doing upon we will only say if you are participating or not. Please keep in mind upon enrolling in the class part of the rules and papers you signed in enrollment gave us permission to relate messages to the court, probation officer and Department of Social Services.

  • How much is class?

It depends if you are in the anger management class the cost is $ 25 person each week of class. All payments must be done prior to coming to class. Rage management is $50 per person per class each week.
